Spiders Everywhere
I've always known that my in-laws had an abundance of spiders. I just never imagined them in my brand new baby's crib. Ella was just a couple of weeks old when I discovered a spider coming out from under the blanket she was sleeping in. I quickly removed her from the bed and then killed the spider being careful not to completely destroy so that I could examine it for whay type of spider. Much to my horror it happened to be a Brown Recluse (Fiddleback). I since have killed several more Fiddlebacks and other spiders both large and small. We've heard that there isn't any easy way to eliminate the Fiddlebacks except for the sticky glue traps. So far the traps have trapped one Fiddleback, lots of crickets and Lucy Anne. Does anyone have any tips on living with these spiders? I now know the true reason why spiders are a mascot for Halloween.

Uh oh! My parents have had a brown recluse problem at their house in Edmond. The exterminator keeps those sticky traps in all the rooms, especially by the beds. It gives me the creeps to put on shoes or anything like that when I visit!
Here at our new house the spider problem is black widows -- we have seen a few around the neighborhood and several neighbors have found them at their houses.
YIKES! I don't like ANY spiders.
Good luck -- both your girls are looking so cute!
