Conversations with a 20 month old!

Tonight on our walk we saw a dog. Lucy Anne started yelling and calling to the puppy, "My puppy". I told her that it wasn't her puppy. Of course, she disagreed until I finally convinced her it wasn't our puppy. Then, she started asking "Where is MY puppy, Mommy?" Then, I have to tell her you don't have puppy . . . over and over and over again! After she realized she doesn't have a puppy (only pretend puppies) she wants to know "WHY?" And I finally realize why I was always answered the way I swore I wouldn't answer . . . . . . . . . . . . "BECAUSE"!

Also, on our walk, I have graduated in names. My name started out as Mama, then Mommy, then sometimes she calls me Honey (not really sure why unless she picked up from Justin), and tonight she called me just plain ol' MOM!!!!!!

Lane has committment issues also when it comes to making plans. I can't seem to make him understand that it takes me more than 20 minutes to pack for a weekend with 4 people. (Then he complains when we get there because I forgot his socks!) So glad you have been overcome by the peer pressure and decided to blog. If more people keep blogging I am going to need a nanny and housekeeper just to keep up with everyone!

I love the conversations that I have with Lauren when we walk. Lauren likes to talk about things in the past that were important to her.... like Hailey making a mess, Seth taking a nap, or going on airplanes to see Nana. I always wish that i had a tape recorder :)

YeeeHaw!! I am so glad that the Potel is open for business and blogging! I was super intimidated by blogging too because NOTHING happens in our house-we are the most boring bloggers ever-so don't worry-it's fun and people will read it and who cares because we are all addicted...Tell the Savells hi!!

Welcome to blogging. And blog spam. It hits us all. Do yourself a favor and turn on the "word verfication" feature. I walked Holly through it in this post (scroll down to my comments). Of course, I neglected to turn it on in my own blog until tonight! ;-)

I am absolutely sure I can find Lucy a puppy! There is a really cute one named Hank that I could send your way.
I am very impressed with your blogging. I have never even heard of it. You will have to let me know more about it, since Mitchell is moving to the Phillipines and Mere is in England.
By the way, I love the Lucy pics. I need one for my frig. Eli likes looking at other kids.

Hey Tiff! This is so fun! How do you start this kind of thing? I love that you are doing this so I can know more of your daily life again! I sure miss you guys. I put your spot in my favorites and look forward to reading about you! Not having much conversation with Ty, that is where the speech thearapist is going to help, hopefully! He is pretty stubborn like someone else I know in our family. I love and miss you! Lisa P.
